Zinc & Aluminium Die Casting

aluminium die casting molten metal industrial foundry

Metal Forming

High-pressure zinc and aluminium die casting for complex, near-net-shape metal components — delivered through our trusted manufacturing partners.

Overview

Keiteq Direct provides zinc (Zamak) and aluminium high-pressure die casting through our network of trusted manufacturing partners. We manage the full programme — from part design review and DFM through to die manufacture, trialling, secondary operations, and delivery. Our partner network gives you access to proven die casting capacity with Keiteq as your single point of contact and quality oversight.

Capabilities

  • High-pressure zinc (Zamak) die casting
  • High-pressure aluminium die casting (ADC12, A380)
  • Shot weights from 10 g to 5 kg
  • Tolerances to ±0.1 mm on critical dimensions
  • In-house die design and manufacture
  • Secondary operations: CNC machining, drilling, tapping
  • Surface finishing: shot blasting, powder coating, plating, anodising
  • X-ray and pressure testing for critical parts

How we work

Our Process

01

Design & DFM

We review your part design for die castability, draft angles, wall thickness, and parting line placement.

02

Die Manufacture

Our toolroom machines the die from H13 tool steel, with flow simulation to optimise gate and runner design.

03

Trial & Approval

First-off samples are measured and submitted for customer approval before production commences.

04

Production & Finishing

Parts are cast, trimmed, and passed through secondary operations and surface finishing before shipment.

Why choose us

Key Benefits

Complex Geometries

Die casting produces intricate internal features, thin walls, and undercuts that are impractical to machine from solid.

High Volume Efficiency

Once tooling is proven, cycle times are short and per-part costs drop significantly at volume.

Excellent Surface Finish

Parts emerge from the die with a smooth surface suitable for direct plating, painting, or powder coating.

Managed Partner Network

We manage the die casting partner relationship on your behalf — handling die design, quality oversight, and delivery so you have one point of contact.

Material Strength

Zinc and aluminium alloys offer excellent strength-to-weight ratios, corrosion resistance, and EMI shielding properties.

ISO 9001:2015 Certified

Full quality management from die design through to final inspection, with traceability at every step.
